East Penn is proud to continue as an Associate Sponsor in the Busch series with Akins Motorsports and the #38 Great Clips car driven by Kasey Kahne and Tyler Walker. This year will be the fifth year that East Penn and Akins Motorsports have been together and the seventh year, overall, that East Penn has been an Associate Sponsor in the Busch series. Deka Batteries and Accessories will appear on the lower rear quarter panel of the #38 Great Clips car.

Akins Motorsports has added another race car for the 2005 season. The #58 Serta & Hickory Farms car will be driven by Brent Sherman. A Deka Batteries and Accessories logo will appear on the #58 car as well.
