East Penn Manufacturing Co. is pleased to announce that in two separate audits East Penn achieved certification to three separate management system standards. On December 4-7, 2001, an audit was conducted by East Penn’s chosen registrar NQA-USA. The audit resulted in the certification of East Penn’s Quality Management System for the entire company to the requirements of ISO 9001:2000 and QS 9000:1998.

East Penn is also pleased to announce that the Wire and Cable Manufacturing division was certified to meet ISO 14001 Environmental Management System requirements. During January 24-26, 2002, the audit was conducted of the division’s Environmental Management System resulting in certification.

The achievement of these Quality and Environmental Management System standards is a major accomplishment for East Penn and required the cooperation of employees at all levels and functions.
