East Penn has developed an Import and Domestic battery line featuring new “exact fit” EN – European Norm (formerly known as DIN – Deutsche Industrie Normen) sizes. EN is a standard used primarily by European manufacturers such as Audi, Mercedes, BMW, VW and Volvo. This EN line currently consists of ten maintenance-free automotive flooded-electrolyte batteries covering BCI Group sizes 40R, 47, 48, 49, 90, 91, 92, 93, 94R, and 97R.
