This standard line of SpaceSaver batteries utilizes a smaller footprint to save space while providing optimal power. The new reduction in space enables less restriction for ground and vertical space confinements and meets the latest UBC97 Zone 4 specifications, certified up to 8 modules high. Assembly is quick and easy with a simplified, yet advanced layout configuration and “two-way” post design allowing quick connector assembly and optimized current transfer.
Deka Unigy II SpaceSaver standard batteries are available in a wide range of capacities and sizes in configurations of three, four and six cells per module. Positive plate capacities range from 45 A.H. a cell to the newest 95 A.H. plate battery. Power reserves for these SpaceSaver modules range from 285 A.H. to 1520 A.H. Unigy II SpaceSaver batteries are designed to achieve 20 years life in float applications under normal operating conditions.
East Penn also offers a line of Deka Unigy II SpaceSaver Interlock batteries designed to eliminate rear bolting, offering a new front access bolting feature for increased installation efficiency and safety. The front shield is made to click “On and Off” easily without using tools, for quicker assembly.
